I'm Ashleigh Marie
I help people like you find stress relief, emotional healing, and personal transformation through a series of different modalities. Using a combination of hypnotherapy, Reiki energy healing, coaching, and shamanic practices, I create a safe, supportive space where every session is personalized to help you become the best version of you.
I work with local clients in Asheville and Black Mountain area who are searching for Reiki near me, hypnotherapy in Asheville, or guidance in mind-body wellness. I also offer remote services to clients world-wide. My goal is simple: to help you feel calmer, clearer, and more confident in your everyday life.
My Story
From a young age, I was deeply aware of the unseen—keenly intuitive and naturally attuned to energies around me. My fascination with the mind and higher consciousness led me to pursue a bachelors in neurobiology, with aspirations of becoming an academic researcher in the field of clinical neuropsychology. I worked for years building my research skills to help me understand the intricate connections between the brain, consciousness, and behavior. During this time, I published a handful of academic research papers (under the name Ashleigh Hover) pertaining to the neurobiological correlates of decision-making and behavior (see below).
After several years pursuing a career in academic research, I realized the types of research questions I was interested in - i.e., understanding the science consciousness - was not the type of questions that were easily funded; the primary types of research getting funded were those which supported pharmaceutical uses - something I did not care to support.
From there, my path took an unexpected turn into the business world, where I leveraged my analytical mind and gift for pattern recognition to build a successful career in data science and analytics. I specialized in creating predictive algorithms that mapped and forecasted human behavior, ultimately leading to a director-level role at a Fortune 500 company. Despite this professional success, a deeper calling persisted—the desire to help others awaken to their true potential, heal from within, and manifest a life aligned with their higher purpose.
This calling guided me back to my true passion: understanding the intersection of science and consciousness. My approach is a very grounded and scientific, integrating bioenergetic feedback, reiki energy healing, guided meditation, and hypnotherapy to unlock the mind’s power to support each person's highest calling. I am honored to guide others on their journeys of self-discovery, healing, and personal mastery. I invite you to join me as well.
